The Coderbyte MCP is an MCP server that connects your AI platform or assistant to your Coderbyte account. After you authenticate your Coderbyte account, you can query for information and data in your account using natural language.

Note: Connecting your MCP can be enabled for customers on the Bundle subscription or within the API, ATS, & MCP add-on.
Make sure you are logged in, and the MCP toggle is on in your Coderbyte account settings.
ChatGPT instructions
1. Open ChatGPT and go to your account Settings > Security and login.
2. Under the Developer mode section toggle Developer mode on and close the modal.
3. On your ChatGPT dashboard click Plugins in the left navigation bar.
4. Select (+) next to the search bar to create a new plugin and enter the following information:

- Name = Coderbyte MCP
- Connection = https://coderbyte.com/mcp
- Authentication = OAuth
5. Select Create to authenticate your Coderbyte account.
6. Find the Coderbyte MCP in your plugin list and select Connect. Then, return to your dashboard.
7. Start or open a New chat. From the + menu, select Coderbyte MCP to enable the plugin during your session.
Claude instructions
1. Open Claude and go to your account Settings > Connectors.
2. Add a custom connector and enter the following information:

3. Click Continue to authenticate your Coderbyte account.
