# Turn on Single Sign-On (SSO) with SAML and Directory Sync with SCIM

## Okta, Azure AD, Google SAML, Duo, and more

### Providers

Coderbyte can support Single Sign-On with any SAML-based provider or any of the following:

### Provisioning and authentication

By default, your SSO configuration with Coderbyte will include just-in-time **provisioning** – in other words, anyone who logs in with SSO will be granted a [Manager](https://help.coderbyte.com/knowledge/inviting-other-admins-to-your-dashboard?hsLang=en) account in Coderbyte if they don't already have one.

If you would only like for your SSO configuration to only **authenticate** Users who have already been invited via Coderbyte, please indicate so in your configuration request.

### Directory sync (SCIM)

You can sync your directory with Coderbyte and automatically configure access and [permissions](https://help.coderbyte.com/knowledge/inviting-other-admins-to-your-dashboard?hsLang=en) based on groups.

Within Coderbyte, user management will be disabled. Changes can be made via the SCIM configuration.
