Suspicious activity detection

Coderbyte is committed to ensuring that cheating is both prevented and detected in order for organizations to make data-driven and unbiased hiring decisions. If a candidate does any of the following, they will be flagged within the candidate report as participating in suspicious activity:

• Trying to access Coderbyte's challenge library as an employer
• Abusing the built-in Google Search
• Using any illicit browser extensions
• Skipping webcam verification or video response questions
• Using a VPN or slow internet connection
• Being in a known public location where cheating frequently occurs
• Trying to modify any scripts running on our platform
• Typing code in a suspicious manner
• Taking a screenshot or a photo with their phone
• Used the assessment's public link multiple times with fake email address
